This is one of those songs that just stuck around. Wrote it in 2004 and I would play it at shows, did numerous demos, recorded a live version... but just never released it. But... it always seemed to work best in its simplest form. And I loved the song for that reason.
So here in the acoustic version. An electric version has been recorded as well.. and I hope to release that later this year.

It was written to be a simple love song to God as well as a request. To be able to stir His heart.. by loving Him and others in a way that is far greater than what I have
done thus far. To “love, the way HE does”. Just imagine what the “church” can do if we all did our best to love each other and those around us the same way God loves us.
And then I think...”Wow.. imagine if I can just do that”. If I can daily love beyond myself and truly take on God’s eyes and heart. Embracing everyone I come in contact with...with a “God-sized love”.

GOD... I WANT TO LOVE YOU LIKE YOU LOVE ME!

To love without fear, without doubt and with no concern the past
Without remorse and regret, without worrying about how long it will last
To love without hesitation, without any blame or any expectations to receive the same kind of love in return.

It sounds impossible.... but I still want to love like that!
